Bicycles are accepted aboard the Amtrak Wolverine Service on bicycle-friendly Trains 350-355. Sponsored by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), three daily round-trips between Pontiac and Chicago, via Detroit, Dearborn, Jackson and other cities, provide bicyclists access to some of the most popular destinations across Michigan.

There is a $10 bicycle charge, in addition to the rail fare, and bicyclists must make reservations to carry their bikes onto the trains and stow them at the direction of the Amtrak conductors. There is a limit to the number of bicycles that each train can carry.

Ride the rails to effortlessly connect to the Great Lake to Lake Trails Route #1 in communities such as Jackson, Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.
